Search engine optimization is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the organic search results.Optimizing a website involvs editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Basically SEO is categorized into two parts: 1) On-Page SEO 2) Of-Page SEO The 80 % of SEO refers to Off-page optimization and 20 % refers to On-page optimization. Onpage optimization includes uploading of various files in your website and including some of the keywords in your HTML coding. Offpage optimization is all to do with the amount of links pointing to your site and its pages, the exact linking text (anchor text) of these links plus the top quality of the pages which the links are on. Offpage optimization is now for sure the extremely dominating factor which determines where a web page will rank in Google. So Google search engine optimization is now mainly offpage optimization. Keywords are at the heart of any web marketing campaign. Keywords are the terms or questions that searchers type into the search engines in order to find your website. Your site content and the terms you are using in headlines and titles need to match up with this. There are several things to note about the keywords, 1st that they are being used by searchers and second that you can compete for them.
